Terms of Use
Updated 24 October 2026
The short version: make great things with your workouts, they are yours, Pro renews until you cancel it in your Apple ID settings, and the app is provided as is.
These terms apply to the Trailframe iOS app, made by Maksym Solomkin (“we”). The app is licensed to you under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “EULA”). The terms below add to the EULA; where they differ, the EULA wins. By using Trailframe you agree to both.
Trailframe Pro
Trailframe is free to use. Trailframe Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks:
- exports without the Trailframe logo,
- the Pro styles, such as dark maps and Film,
- longer reels, up to 60 seconds.
Pro costs $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year in the US; the App Store shows the price in your currency before you buy. There is no free trial.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If we change the price, Apple will tell you in advance, and where required ask for your consent.
Features may change over time. We may add things to Pro; if we ever remove a major Pro feature, you can cancel and ask Apple for a refund of the unused period.
Your content
Your workouts, photos, videos, music and the exports you make are yours. They stay on your device and we get no rights to them. You are responsible for having the right to use the photos, clips and music you put into an export, and for what you choose to share. Exports that show a map must keep the OpenStreetMap credit.
The built-in music tracks, layouts, styles and graphics are licensed to you for use in your Trailframe exports, including posting them on social media. Don’t extract them to use or sell on their own.
Fair use
Don’t use Trailframe to break the law or anyone’s rights, or try to reverse engineer, disrupt or abuse the app or the services it uses, such as the map tile servers. Removing the Trailframe logo by means other than Pro is not allowed.
Health and safety
Trailframe shows workout data recorded by Apple Health and your devices. It is not a medical device and doesn’t give medical advice. Numbers can be inaccurate. Think twice before sharing a route that starts at your home.
Third-party services
Maps use data from OpenStreetMap contributors served by OpenFreeMap, elevation from AWS Terrain Tiles, and Apple Maps; stock backgrounds come from Pexels; subscriptions are managed through RevenueCat and crash reports go to Sentry. These services are provided by others, may change or be unavailable, and have their own terms. See the Privacy Policy for what they receive.
No warranty and liability
Trailframe is provided “as is”. As set out in the EULA and to the extent the law allows, we make no warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change matters, we will mention it in the app’s release notes. Continuing to use Trailframe after a change means you accept it.
